Papasan Round Chair Cushion

The papasan is the chair you sink into and don't get out of — but only with the right cushion. This one is a deep, generously filled round that settles into a standard 45-inch papasan or moon-chair bowl and cradles you the way the frame promises.

We build it in the same solution-dyed, water-repellent fabric as the rest of the collection, so it holds its color and shrugs off the odd spill. It's happiest on a covered porch, sunroom, or shaded patio; the quick-dry fill recovers fast if it catches some weather.

The cover unzips for washing, and the tufted construction keeps the thick fill evenly distributed so it doesn't bunch toward the base. A single oversized cushion, sized to drop straight into most papasan frames.
