Our story
We make cushions you leave outside on purpose
Iputword began with a familiar disappointment: a set of outdoor cushions that looked great in May and faded, flattened, and stayed damp by August — then lived in the garage instead of on the chairs.

A small line, made to last a season — and the next
So we set out to fix the three things that ruin outdoor cushions: color that fades, foam that flattens, and covers you can't clean. We chose solution-dyed fabric — color locked into the fiber, so UV can't bleach it — and paired it with a water-repellent finish that sheds rain instead of soaking it up.
Inside, we use high-resiliency foam that drains and springs back, so a cushion stays comfortable through a full season rather than compressing into a thin board by midsummer. And every cover unzips completely, because the cushion that gets used is the one you can throw in the wash before guests arrive.
We keep the range small on purpose — deep seats, dining pads, bistro rounds, and bench cushions — all in the same four colorfast shades, so the pieces match across your patio instead of clashing.
What we believe
Built for the weather
Solution-dyed fabric and quick-dry foam, chosen so a cushion can live outside without greying, going flat, or holding water.
Comfort that lasts
High-resiliency fill that springs back instead of staying creased. A cushion you sink into in spring should still hold its shape in autumn.
Honest about materials
We tell you exactly what the fabric and fill are, what they resist, and how to care for them. No vague claims, no surprises.
